Delivery Driver

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a full time delivery driver to join our team. This position will primarily focus on making deliveries from the Central Plumbing and Heating warehouse to customers in various local locations (within 30 miles). Deliveries will not require overnight travel. NO CDL License Required, experience driving a 28 foot truck needed. Hours are Monday to Friday from 8AM to 5PM. 

Duties will include the following:

• Comply with all DOT regulations
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ensure customers receive full order in good condition
• Prepare delivery schedule on a weekly basis
• Assist in general warehouse and parts counter duties when deliveries are completed

Requirements: 

• Experience in Plumbing, Heating and /or HVAC industry preferred
• Previous experience with driving box trucks and commercial delivery vehicles needed
• Valid professional driver’s license, with a respectable driving record with no traffic violations
• Ability to lift heavy objects greater than 50lbs
